Seminar on Olympic wrestling rules held
A seminar on Olympic wrestling rules was held in Podgorica, featuring Nikola Torbica and an additional lecture by Dr Danilo Crvenko.
The first step toward improving the education of coaches and future Olympic wrestling referees was made in Podgorica through a seminar on Olympic wrestling rules.
During the weekend (7–8 February), the president of the refereeing commission of the Wrestling Federation of Serbia, Nikola Torbica, held the seminar at the invitation of our federation.
Nikola Torbica is a referee with many years of experience and the highest-category international (IS) license, and the fact that he officiated at the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris speaks for itself.
Although the focus was on Olympic wrestling rules, our Dr Danilo Crvenko also gave a lecture on the most common injuries in combat sports, with a focus on prevention.
