International wrestling camp concluded on Zabljak
From 20 to 24 May, Zabljak hosted an international wrestling camp with domestic athletes, guests from the region and abroad, and children from the town itself.

From 20 to 24 May, another wrestling camp was successfully held in Zabljak, organized by Montenegrin clubs and friends of wrestling from the region and abroad. At an altitude of 1,450 meters, in a unique setting with a beautiful view of the Durmitor mountain range, wrestlers had the opportunity to further improve their knowledge, physical preparation and competitive form through intensive work.
The camp brought together local competitors from Perjanik of Podgorica and Brskovo of Mojkovac, who trained together with colleagues from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Switzerland, as well as coaches from the Turkish city of Afyonkarahisar, known for its rich wrestling tradition and major success in the sport. This international cooperation and exchange of experience is one of the greatest values of such gatherings, as it allows young wrestlers to further develop their skills through work with different styles and training methods.
A special touch to this year's camp was also given by the presence of children from Zabljak, who showed great interest in wrestling and joined the training sessions despite the fact that there is still no wrestling club in the town. Their energy, eagerness to learn and sporting spirit showed that Zabljak has strong potential for the development of this sport, which is an additional incentive for future activities and for promoting wrestling among the youngest age groups.
Over the five days of the camp, a large number of technical, tactical and conditioning sessions were held. The training took place outdoors, which gave the participants extra motivation and a special sporting atmosphere, while the good weather and excellent conditions helped ensure that all activities were carried out according to plan.
Such camps play an exceptionally important role in the development of wrestling in Montenegro. In addition to improving sporting form, they make it possible to build new friendships, international contacts and valuable experience that are essential for the further progress of every athlete. At the same time, they confirm that Montenegrin wrestling continues to build quality cooperation with clubs and experts from the region and the wider world.
The Wrestling Federation of Montenegro will continue to support activities that contribute to the development of young wrestlers and the strengthening of international cooperation, with the aim of creating the best possible conditions for the progress of future generations of Montenegrin national team athletes.
